Introduction

Every leaf, root, and blossom holds a story — and, in the right hands, the power to heal or to harm." — Archivist Kaelorn

The Herbal Origins Index catalogs the plants, fungi, and rare growths found across Vacari’s realms. From the scorched sands of Afor to the misted groves of Etharyon, each entry records its properties, uses, and dangers. Many such records now include the field notes of Valeon, a budding alchemist and herbalist whose travels have expanded the index beyond what any single lorekeeper could achieve. His findings continue to bridge the gap between battlefield necessity and the subtle craft of potion and poultice.

🏙️ City-Based Exceptions

While many regions are represented in the Herbal Origins Index, cities like Crystal Vale and Goldmoor are not included. These are located within the world of Vacari, and their herbal practices rely on surrounding forests like the Emerald Woods and Purple Fire Woods. Herbalists here focus on refinement, enchantment, and ritual preparation rather than direct harvesting.

🌋 Fel Thalor Exception

Though part of Vacari, Fel Thalor possesses a unique volcanic and abyssal terrain, distinct from other fire-aligned regions like the Emberwoods. The herbs found here are shaped by corruption, ancient ruins, or unstable magic, and are therefore included despite its proximity to the gateway to Afor.
