In many fantasy worlds, dragons walk among mortals wearing borrowed forms.
In Vacari, such power is neither common nor assumed.
Even among the Noble Dragons, most do not shape-shift.
Only certain Metallic Dragons possess that rare gift, and even then, it is not universal.
The Copper Dragons, though Metallic and ancient in power,
do not shape-shift at all.
Because in Vacari, transformation is not a trick of magic.
It is an evolution of the soul, a willingness to embrace limitation, vulnerability, and restraint.
Not every dragon desires that path.
Some are born to remain vast, radiant, and elemental,
Their purpose is written in flame and sky rather than in mortal footsteps.
As for the Dark Dragons…
They would never consider shape-shifting.
To a Dark Dragon, changing form is not cleverness, it is diminishment.
Their draconic shape is the fullest expression of their power.
To compress that might into a smaller vessel would be to limit themselves,
and no Dark Dragon would ever choose limitation.
The Red Dark Dragon above all others embodies this truth.
Its confidence is absolute.
Its pride is ancient.
It knows its strength, and it knows the world knows it too.
A Dark Dragon does not hide.
It does not infiltrate.
It does not pretend.
It arrives.
And the sky remembers.
In Vacari, power is not disguised.
It is declared.
